Concerts and dance performances dedicated to the history of the Grimani family of Santa Maria Formosa and its Palace.

Music by Georg Friedrich Händel, Geminiano Giacomelli, Andrea Bernasconi, Antonio Giay, Antonio Predieri.
The library of the Palazzo Querini Stampalia, neighbors-rivals of the Grimani, preserves a collection of opera arias in a curious adaptation for flute, obviously for use by some noble amateur music and music lover. Are all works go on stage in the Grimani theater St. John Chrysostom around 1730. Add to these some transcripts from the opera Agrippina by Georg Friedrich Händel, staged in the same theater in 1709; Handel reused the same melodies of his own tunes in his collection of sonatas for flute and continuo.
The number of available places is limited, booking is advisable.
The event is included in the cost of admission to the museum.
