Trevor Brown e Maya Petrovna

Il giardino di Awai verrà animato da due performance uniche di due artisti internazionali.

Si tratta di Trevor Brown (da Sydney), al sax, flauto traverso, tamburello, percussioni e fiati vari con loop machine e effetti, che eseguirà un solo e Maya Petrovna (da Sarajevo), performer e cantante che si auto definisce “one woman show”. Le sue performance consistono in un susseguirsi di canzoni, cambi di costume e di scenografie da lei stessa ideate e realizzate.


Trevor Brown

Trevor is a freelance composer, multi-instrumentalist, improviser, director, producer, sound designer, occasional academic and radio presenter who works across several artistic and cultural fields and disciplines.
He has written extensively for theatre, dance, radio and spoken word, performing and presenting around the world.
He has performed as a classical flautist in symphony orchestras and small ensembles; and as a saxophonist, bass clarinettist and musical director performed and recorded with many award-winning projects.
He has been a powerful force in the underground and alternative arts culture in Australia from urban to remote indigenous communities.
He has been a director of Alpha House Artist Cooperative which has been one of australiaas longest rung arts cooperative.
Other work includes many years of remote indigenous community cultural activities in NT, SA and NSW, as well as being a director of Alpha House Artists Cooperative and the Artistic of the Alpha Waves Series, an ongoing festival of exploratory music.


Maya Petrovna

Maya Petrovna is a one woman show consisting of several performances flowing one after another through cinematic music, changing costumes & scenography with each song.
Maya is the composer behind all music in her shows & creates most of costumes. She sings live opera while delivering intense choreography born from physical theatre & contortionism.
Maya's solo performances contributed from Sydney Opera House to London Box Soho, Berlin Kit Kat, London Fashion Show & Australian festivals.
Her work was commissioned by Sydney Studio Orchestra.
Her credits include composing original scores for the SF Apple Podcasts of film “Australia” by Baz Luhrmann.
